This is an absolutely wonderful book of poetry for children. I bought this book for my granddaughter. She is seven and loved the poetry and the illustrations. The illustrations are simply gorgeous and would make delightful posters if the author ever decides to offer them as a companion to the book.
The poetry is motivational and empowering - it is a feel good read and that is something so many children need.
I'm a retired teacher and I know firsthand how difficult it is to find quality poetry books for young readers. This book is a must have - I think elementary teachers would love to have this book on the shelf in the classroom.
